Before and After Ornaments ~

Remember last week when I was
bone tired
from shopping all day? I took my cousin along with me
(who had just lost her 18 year old son a few weeks ago)

One of our stops was at an antique mall where I found
all these tart tins for $2.00.
I knew right away that I wanted to make
some kind of Christmas ornaments with them.
Before photo ~
I adore the little tiny ones.
Here the tiny ones are after I made them into ornaments. I used antique ledger paper for the inside and then I glass glittered them. I love how they turned out.

Some of these will be finding their way into my Etsy store soon.

Enjoy and blessings~

Well, you smartypants! You happened onto a fantastic deal - there are so many of the tart tins. What fun to find "almost freebies" like that!!

What a wonderful way you have decorated them too. So clever of you - they are very simple and yet stunning...

Oh Sandi they're awesome!!! I really love them!

As far as the BHG picture goes, I'm not sure when it was in the mag (or if it's new), I just came across it online and loved it.

Blessings to you...

Hi Sandi,
I have been scouring thrift stores for these little tart tins. Darn you girl, you always beat me to the goods. But I never could have made them look so great.
Hugs,
June
Oh yes, I definitely would have hit the Grand Opening!

Hi, Sandi! My computer is back! I love those little ones, too! So pretty!

I hope your shopping trip added some sort of "normalcy" to your cousins life. I've thought of her much. ♥
