My booth and wandering Gypsy

Remember when I gave up my booth to take a break from whatever it was that I was doing? I recommended that my friend Marian take it. {Remember I met her at her store in Blissfield ,Michigan and she knew who I was from reading my blog ...she grabbed me and hugged me} It was a great day!! Well anyhow...she now has my the booth {why I keep calling it MY booth I have no idea because it really isn’t mine anymore} and I wanted to show you how fabulous she has it all set up. I intended to get back up and get some more pictures and that has not happened.

Love all these goodies and how she has them displayed.

I am thinking I need this sign for my kitchen!

                                                            Gorgeous chandelier!!

                                                     In L.O.V.E. with this chalkboard.
I stole her idea and came home and wrote the same thing on  mine.
                                                             shh...don't tell her! :)

                                              Can't have too many pillows!

LOVE...LOVE...LOVE this basket too!!

I just love everything about how she has it all set up and I hope she stays
there for a long time because it is the best booth in the whole mall!!!

I am so tired today , but wanted to get this post up since it has been several days since I posted. I have just plain ran out of steam from shopping today so I will be resting tomorrow. {that is the plan anyways}   *Smile*

Now for some sad news regarding my kitty Gyspy...she has wandered off and we have not seen her since Sunday.  Remember hubby found her in the middle of the road and brought her home? I think she was born to wander.  We really think that she went to church with us or my daughter's family underneath
the car and then made her home in the town that our church is in. Several of us were standing inside the
church foyer Sunday and noticed this kitty walking around underneath cars and someone made the remark that it probably rode to church underneath someones car. We now think it
was Gyspy because we haven't seen her since!! Little stinker! We put out the word and drove through town looking for her, but so far nothing. I have a feeling if she did come back that she would just do it again.
She obviously has a wandering spirit and just can't stay too long in one place.
Darling gd Annika just loved her to pieces and played with her last time she was here... I haven't told her yet.
I am not planning on replacing Gyspy, but I will keep her memory in my heart.

Overwhelmed with *stuff*

I don't know if it is the time of year or what , but I am
finding myself just overwhelmed with too much
*stuff*.

I don't think I have ever told you that probably 98% of
the *stuff* that I take to my booth is not what I have
made for resale, but rather items that I have used in my
decor at one time or another and my tastes have
changed.

Such as these flowers...really had a thing for them at
one time, but not so much anymore so I wrapped
them up in brown paper , added cute tags and off
they went to my booth.

I purchased this crate just to display them in. How could
I pass it up at $8.95?
{adding to my more stuff dilema} I think it is just a
vicious cycle. :)

I have sold several of these tissue paper pom poms
and love the look of them hanging from my ladder.
I intended to add butterflies flitting around overhead,
but forgot them again so I am making a list for the next
time I go!

This wire cloche didn't last long in my booth.
Love it too , but just can't keep everything.

{I did keep one a tad larger just like this one
though! lol.}

More *stuff*

...and yet more!

I did paint this vintage wooden spoon holder
white and hung the hankies on it so that is one
item I did pick up just to refurbish.

This little cutie didn't last long in my booth. I thought it turned out adorable and I am glad
that someone else loved it too!
{thus helping me de-stuff even more}

French stamped ribbon that I made several days ago
using up some more fabric in my stash.

I also made these pretty tags to go on the ribbon...
hoping that someone will buy them to help get rid
of yet more stuff. lol.

A vintage pillow ticking case that I loved at one time,
is now for sale in my booth. I do still think it is so pretty,
but I am leaning more toward neutrals so a lot of
pink items are going...going...gone
around here.

I am about ready to add a sign in my booth that says,
Everything is $1.00...
just buy it and get it out of here.

I probably won't go that drastic , but some days I
am very tempted!

So what did we conclude from this ridiculous long
post? I have too much stuff!!

Do you get the itch to purge at this time of year?
I am on a roll and a purging I shall go!!
Blessings~

Booth Setup...I need a long nap ~

I am so tired today! I didn't even crawl out of bed until 9 am
and didn't even want to get up then.
Yesterday was booth set up day.
You would think with such a small booth
that it wouldn't be much, but
I am telling you
between my fibromyalgia and setting
up and running around...
I am one tired puppy today.
We did the booth first, then went for lunch and shopped at a
couple antique stores. Then we made a quick trip home
to print out some photos,
next we headed south about 18 miles to see
someone in the hospital and didn't get home until
after 9 pm.
Tired, tired...tired.
The first four pictures are from hubby's camera.
The rest are from mine.
Enjoy~
This shot is from the side.
We first put up three old wooden shutters that
hubby hinged together and added shelves to
on one side
and then the piece of fence went on
the other side
to define my space~
I love how the shelves on the shutters
turned out~ Back of booth. I opted for now to just hang a lace tablecloth that I could put peg board hangers through easily since it has an open weave to it~ We went to a flea market on Saturday and I found this corner shelf for $3.00! I knew right away it would be perfect for my booth~ After we got home and printed out some photos I realized I need to move my lace over to the right, but that will have to wait until I get there again next week ~ Tags, tags, and more tags. They can also be used for ornaments~ My embellished bottles and silver~ Chenille wrapped clothespins to throw in a small bowl~
Gorgeous vintage plate, bottles and candleholders~
Love these trees.
I have a few myself~
Card carosel that I am using for my tags~
Pretties on the corner shelf~
I really did have fun setting this up .
This will be quite an adventure for me.
Looking at more pictures there are some things I need to *fix*...lace etc., but
overall I am satisfied for a first time set up.

Booth is set up at
Hog Creek Antique Mall and you can click on the
name to visit their site.
Have a wonderful day! Blessings~

Beautiful Antique Images~

Friday I went to the antique store
in a quaint little town
that is going out of business.
Hoping to find more old ledger paper
but it was all gone.
However I did find a lot of gorgeous antique images~
Doesn't she look like she is dreaming of a long lost love~
Many beautiful black & white photos including this one...
Found in this wonderful antique music book. It is dated in the 1800's ~
Mandolin player ~
Love the writing and scrollwork on this sheet music.
More beautiful black and white antique photos...
Love this angel photograph~
More lovely sheet music.
The price was 10 for $1.00 and she had stacks of it~
How cute is this ...Little Fairy March~
Once again love these images~
I hope you enjoyed my glimpse into the past.
of these old prints.

The lady who owns the store is in her 90's and just can't run it anymore so we must gather the treasures while we can ~

Blessings~
