Part 2 of My BF's Beautiful Garden!

I promised you part two of my best friends beautiful place and I am delivering!

The first photo is at the entrance to her fabulous and totally weed free garden!
I don't know how she does it!
I would need a full time gardener and then some.
She is a Master Gardener though so maybe she has a secret??

OH, PEGGY??

Once again, sit back with a cup of coffee or lemonade and enjoy the pics!

Her hubby builds all her fences, arbors etc. Don't they look amazing?

I have decided that I want to be like her when I grow up!!
Don't you??!! ...SIGH

She found this wheelbarrow at a huge show that we went to in the Spring and it
fits in just perfectly. She does actually use it so she must not have a gardener?!

She comes up with the neatest ideas to keep critters away.
I don't have a garden that we actually eat food from. Mine is just flowers
so I admire her so much!!

LOVELY place that needs to be photographed for a magazine!
Anyone out there listening?? SMILE!

Lavender's blue,dilly dilly...

...lavender's green... do you remember that song?  I don't remember all of it , but that song is
always running through my head whenever I see lavender.

I decided to take a few photos when my lavender was in bloom a week or so ago.
I didn't pick it because my plant really isn't large enough yet, but I still wanted to share
it with you.

It has the most fragrant scent when it first buds out and that is the perfect time for picking.
{before it actually flowers}

I love it in any form...flowering or not! :)

For some reason it looks more blue in this photo than lavender, but that's okay. :)

Praying you have a wonderful Sunday and a Happy Fathers Day to all the amazing
Fathers out there...you know who you are!! :)
Blessings~

Photo Boards ~

Holly over at Holly Doodle Designs made some photo boards a few months ago and that is where I got my inspiration to make these. I really wanted to use much older wallpaper, but I already had this paper here at home so these are the final results. They are very easy to make and turn out just adorable. You can embellish them any way you please and make them your own personal style. The photos are removable so you can interchange them from time to time ~
This striped one is my favorite...I used vintage lace ,millinery and seam binding ribbon ~ My little granddaughter playing in my fountain outside last summer ~
Another take on a photo board . I hope at some point to get some older wallpaper to make some of these with. They would make great gifts ~
Try your hand at making these...you will love them~ Blessings~

Gardening Bug...

Has the gardening bug bit you yet? I am so ready to get out there and purchase hanging baskets and plant flowers, but it is not quite time in our neck of the woods so I thought I would share a few of my pictures from last year.

LOVE this piece of pottery and the flowers in it ~
I fell in love with this white wicker cone hanging basket and purchased it a couple years ago. This geranium grew so big it almost outgrew the basket! ~
My bleeding heart plants beside my back door...they grow huge every year. Love them ~ My favorite birdbath... Enjoy ~
Have a wonderful day...
Blessings ~
