March is here!

I love March.
It signals the beginning of spring,
and it is my birthday month.
Did you know that in the Roman calendar
it was originally the first month of the year?
The year consisted of 10 months
for a total of 304 days. According to tradition,
the Roman ruler Numa Pompilius added
January and February to the calendar.

{I know you just needed that info today. lol.}

I adore the beautiful spring flowers
lily-of-the-valley.
{I borrowed this photo off our local Christian radio's
facebook site}

Pretty soon we will be seeing these spring beauties called
trillium.

Our apple trees will break forth with gorgeous blossoms...

...including our flowering pear tree.

I found this photo when I was searching online for
Spring flowers. Haven't a clue what it is, but it sure is
pretty.

This one remains nameless also.
I was caught off guard by Wednesday creeping
up on me again before I was ready so I opted
for white spring flowers. A few photos that I took in the past added to some
that I found online.
Are you ready for Spring...I know I am!!

Be sure and join Kathleen over at Faded Charm
for more beautiful White Wednesday posts.
Blessings~
