Here comes Peter Cottontail...

...hoppin' down the bunny trail ♪♫♪

Hippity , hoppin'...♫♪♫

Easter's on its way! ♪♫♪...

{from composers Steve Nelson and Jack Rollins in 1949}

I remember this song from when I was little and it always comes to mind this time of year.

I chose to be lazy this year and opt for a purchased kit to make a cute bunny banner.

Actually, I was going to get one for each of my kids families for my grands and I only found this one.
I went to a couple different stores and never saw another one and that was way back when
they first started putting out Easter goodies. They must have been either really popular
or each store got in ONE kit.

This bunny definitely looks like he has been hopping down the bunny trail!

This was my purchase at the store called
Fabulous Finds in Adrian, Michigan
that I told you about a few posts ago. Isn't he sweet??

Please disregard the fall leaves {ahem} from last year. I did get them cleaned up
AFTER I took this photo.

I am so far behind, but I wanted to show you what my hubby Mr. Wayside brought me.

I woke up the day after St. Patrick's Day to these beautiful cookies
sitting on my kitchen table. I told hubby that he staged them perfectly!
They were DELICIOUS and I loved that he thought of me.

Are you busy with Easter preparations?

I have some of my kids coming in this weekend and we will have the traditional Easter Egg hunt
after lunch Sunday, but first we will go to church to celebrate our risen Savior!!

HE HAS RISEN AND HE IS ALIVE!!

Blessings~

Carte Postale wings and an adorable little bunny

I just had to share my youngest granddaughter in her Halloween outfit with you today. After all it is white so it goes right along with our White Wednesday theme. Isn't she just the cutest??!!  We walked along with both our sons and their families and our daughter-in-laws parents for trick or treating last weekend and we had a wonderful time. I think our adorable little bunny stole the show. :)

Just look at those little ears and that kissable sweet face...hee hee!

As we were walking through town collecting treats for the grands, Ainsley's mommy held her for awhile, her other grandma, her daddy and eventually she was passed on to me. I didn't have her in my arms very long at all and she fell fast asleep.  She was a tired little bunny, but still oh so cute!!
Changing gears here...I have sold several Jeanne de' arc style angel wing ornaments off my blog so I decided to list a few in my Etsy store.  Small and large ornaments so you can take your pick.

They vary in  price depending on size and charm used .

If you see any your heart desires, just visit my Etsy store or send me an email.
{I finally got my Etsy shop name changed to Wayside Treasures...yay!!}

I will be linking this post with White Wednesday so be sure to HOP on over to Faded Charm again this week for more amazingly beautiful posts. I have to give a shout out to Kathleen every once in awhile for continuing to host this day for us each week. Thank you Kathleen!!!!!! :)

It's HERE...it's HERE ~

It has finally arrived and I am so excited....SPRING! I am ready to get out in the dirt and dig around. A couple days ago I went outside and cleaned up three wheelbarrows full of leaves etc. that didn't get raked up in the fall and I also took my camera out and took some shots. I hope you enjoy them. An angel on my potting shed door..... Garden stake...
Tree face that I love...
Saw this idea in a magazine and hubby and I went right to work a couple years ago. There is eye bolt thingy attached to the door of my potting shed, so I can attach this hook to the door and it holds it open. Love this idea!
Door knocker...
Old cement column...
Guardian angel...
Cement bunny...got two of these at the Goodwill for next to nothing...
I am so glad the longgggg winter is over...or at least I certainly hope it is. Since today is officially the first day of spring ....Happy Spring everyone! Blessings~
