Amazing french antique mall booth

I sure have been doing a lot of blog posts lately
haven't I? I go from one or two a week to several,
but I have just had a couple of very interesting
weekends that I had to share with you.

On the way up to visit with our
daughter and her family we stopped at an
antique mall that I found on our last visit.
I was in awe when I found a french
booth this time around. I loved everything
about it...all the goodies and the displays so let
me take you along with me today. I know
you will love it too!
This is the cutest ever vintage french water glass
and carrier. I opened it up and inside is a small
clear glass that says, "made in france" on
the bottom. I had never seen anything like it
before. So cute!!

Neat french style pillow in an old bed.

I also adore old gates! someday...*sigh* Can you say french seltzer bottles? I also thought this wire plant stand was a keeper.
I reallyyyy wanted the papers underneath the french
pharmacy boxes with the french writing, but they were
for display only. I looked and looked for a price and could
not find any. Bummer.
French cemetary urn...very small compared
to what I see here.
I love enamel number signs.
I am thinking of doing something like this
to an oval frame I have and using it for
a wreath. I think I can figure something out
along those lines. :)

{the linens you see in the middle of it are not part
of this booth. They are showing through the window
from another booth}

Truthfully I could have just bought the whole booth
if my pocketbook would have allowed.ha!

Loved these doorknobs too , but a girl can only have
so much stuff right?? I am already cleaning out stuff
and donating it to the church garage sale so I need to
be really choosy with what I bring home. If I still
had a booth I would not be so choosy because I could
just schlep it up there eventually.
Neat little zinc trays...I looked at these for a long time
as well.

I wish I had gotten a better photo of this darling
vintage french lunchpail. It was light blue enamel
with white speckles and it had a little removable
tray underneath the lid. So, so cute!

I know there were a lot of photos and I hope you enjoyed
your tour of the french booth. I took so many photos in
it that I am surprised they didn't chase me out! :)
Blessings~

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

...it's the hap-happiest season of all...
vintage pair s and p's...
$1.00
Made in Japan
score!

I am sure you have seen these adorable little birdies
before as they are appearing all over blogland.

I just think they are so cute!

I scored seven of them on my outing last week
to the city.

This was also a wonderful find at Home Goods. I have
never seen anything like this at that store before.
It is huge at 24 inches square with a feather/down
insert and is comes with a zippered cover too.
Very squishy and nice.

Just a little update...grandbaby number 7 will soon arrive. She is due in 10 days so we are anxiously awaiting Ainsley's arrival. I know she will be tiny, beautiful and precious just like her big sister Annika.

We had Thanksgiving at my parents home on Saturday evening. We feasted on turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, squash casserole, broccoli casserole, stuffing, salad, deviled eggs, rolls, cherry pie, coconut pie and apple pie. The food was delicious as it is every year and we had a wonderful time with family.

In case you need a quick delicious salad recipe:

Lettuce { I used a head of lettuce and a package of spring mix} 2 oranges { cut up in chunks} Craisins, {dried cranberries}, Toasted pecans Poppy seed dressing{ I used Marzetti brand} Everyone loves this salad so I took it again this year. I figure why mess with a good thing. :)

I want to wish each of you a most blessed Thanksgiving!!

Blissful Sunday...and maybe WW too

I love lilacs, but they don't love me.
This is all I can have in my house
or my sinuses go crazy.
So sad because they are my favorite
spring flower.
At the rate I have been posting these days this just might
be my WW post too. Been crazy busy and today is no
different. I will have to fly home from church and
finish up my tea party decor , head back to church
to decorate and make sandwiches for the tea etc.

I need to go to my booth tomorrow or Tuesday. Didn't
make it at all last week....time is moving faster
every day. At least I think so.

Recognize the chair and ruffles?? Got two of these
chairs for $3 each some time ago at the thrift store.
The white *ruffles* ...that is a skirt from the thrift store.
I love to purchase skirts filled with ruffles. I have
another one that I intend to take apart and make
a pillow with the ruffles already made for me
and at 2.50 you can't go wrong!

Purchased the pillow several weeks ago from
frenchfreak.com and love it. I think her pillow prices are amazing!

Happy Sunday~
