In lieu of no job and being careful spending money , we trimmed our evergreen trees and I added a bundle to my bench on the front porch. |
I have always loved this little lantern that my daughter gave me several years ago. Make note of this photo when you see another one later in the post with much more snow on it. |
Wreaths with berries, pine cones from our own trees, a pretty lady statue, live greenery and an old picnic basket... perfect for Christmas. |
I even dressed up our outside light with fake pine greenery and a red ribbon. I didn't purchase one thing this year to decorate. Just pulled from my stash. |
My little window house even says HAPPY HOLIDAYS. |
Much more snow in this pic...eh? :) |
A favorite sled with skates, greenery and ribbon |
There are also pine cones in this clay pot...so funny. I hope to get pictures that actually show the cones before the winter is over. |
I was in the process of decorating my back porch so this stuff is not totally where I want it , but oh well. |
I hope you enjoyed your mini tour of my outside winter decor. I pray that each one of you have a wonderful holiday season and that you will be blessed many times over!! |

Hi Sandi... oooh, you really got hit with snow like we did!... I am not a winter person, but it really does look so pretty... and I love all of your decorations... that vintage picnic hamper is perfect!... and all of your greenery looks so festive... wishing you a very Merry Christmas!... xoxo Julie Marie
It all looks so pretty...as long as I don't have to be out there in it. I don't know what part of Michigan you live in but I heard that we are supposed to get rain on Friday that will melt most, if not all of it here in the Ann Arbor area.
how beautiful everything looks covered in snow. so lovely. i'm happy for you that you will have a white xmas. it's magical. we are getting a second storm in just 3 days and it's a winter wonderland here. i love it! merry xmas! ;)
The snow added an extra layer of "pretty" to your creative vignettes. I hope we get enough snow down here in East Tennessee to have our own White Christmas. Have a Blessed Christmas season.

Everything is so pretty. I am not loving our snow. But I will take it over the rain that's predicted...flooding with the ground frozen..yikes. Take care and enjoy all your pretty things. You are being very good about not spending. I have tried to challenge myself to not spend needlessly.Hard to do at times. Thank you so much for the card, a wonderful sirprise. xoxo,Susie
When you live in a winter wonderland, all you have to do is add touches of red and greenery and you are good to do. Your porch looks lovely. My college boy is here from Colorado where it is frigid much of the year so he is happily thawing out for a bit. Wishing you and yours the happiest of holidays. Tammy
The snow was the crowning touch to your outside decorations. Beautiful!
Merry Christmas to you, sweetie!
Very pretty! I love how you used the pine branches everywhere to decorate. Great idea! We got a LOT of snow here in Michigan too. I love how it gives everything a pretty, dream-like effect. Hope you had a very merry Christmas!!
