White Petite Pots

Have you ever had one of those days when you
find something you have had forever and
you think of something
fun , frenchie and white
that you can do with it?

I was cleaning out my potting shed last Wednesday and I found
all these small pots that I just had sitting on the windowsill
and the wheels started turning.

I knew I wanted them white, but not a solid white...
more of a white wash...so I got out the paint
and started playing.

I added some vintage lace around the top of each one
and I really thought I was done with them...until today
when I realized that I would like them to be
kinda *french* looking.

I decided to get out my set of Paris rubber stamps.
From previous experience I knew that
it was not going to be easy to rubber stamp
on a convex surface, but I took out the smallest
stamp I could find and started stamping.

I found out you kinda have to *roll* the stamp and also
that none are perfect, but I love them as is.

Then I remembered some egg soaps I had purchased at my favorite store ...Home Goods... and some little petite pots were born.

All packaged up and ready for either my Etsy store or my booth...haven't decided yet. Maybe both.

update:

you can now purchase them here:

My Etsy store

There is only one egg shaped soap in each pot because these are tiny pots. They stand approx. 2 and 1/4 inches high and are also the same in diameter at the top.

Please visit Kathleen at Faded Charm for more WW posts. You will be glad you did. She has been such a gracious host for all of us for many , many weeks now. Thank you so much Kathleen! The WW post is the one I try to really prepare for. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way, but I do try. lol.

Blessings~
