I guess time will tell...
flowing into this home
I signed up for a booth at an antique/craft mall.
I need to set up in two weeks.
I have never done anything like this,
but it seemed like the right time.
Hope it goes well.
I will take any and all suggestions
in making this a success.
It is only a 4 x 6 foot space.
I wanted to start small.
Need to make two temporary *walls*
for the sides. Thinking of using
old white doors and shutters.
There is also white pegboard on the back
and I would like to dress that up,
but not quite sure how yet.
Any suggestions???
but first things first...
I must erase that chalkboard before
hubby comes home and agrees with me.
lol
Blessings~

I have done this many times in past years....
I always made sure not to clutter & have something inexpensive to draw in the crowds especially children cause' when the children are attracted the parents come with them!!
Good Luck!! I hope you sell out quickly!!
Love,
MArilyn
Oh how exciting Sandi. Congrats to you. Wish I could come and do some shopping once you get it all set up, but sadly I live too far away..
You'll have to take lots of pictures to share with us once you get everything set up. I'm anxious to see what you do with your space.
Ha-ha! How exciting! You can do this, Sandi! Please take pics!I've never done this so I don't have advice but I've wondered if this same type of thing might be in our future. there are so many blogger girls out there that have this experience so i hope you get lots of advice!
I know I appreciate a nicely arranged stall but if the prices are too high then what difference does it make? BUT, then again, I know that most people have more money than I do so... ☺
Will you have to "man" the booth- take the money? That's something I couldn't do. I get a brain freeze if I have to handle money in front of people! ♥
Good luck! I can't wait to see how it turns out; I know it will be beautiful :)
Congratulations !! How wonderful, no you are not crazy!! I love any booth that looks "homey" rather than like a bunch of junk stacked on top of each other. You will have the touch and won't need our help, that is for sure. Fabric is the answer, lace etc. Good luck!
Good luck on your new adventure! I've always wanted to do that, so good for you that you're brave enough to give it a whirl!
Hey sweetie, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You will do GREAT!! As a former antique dealer my advice is get things as inexpensively as you can because it is at that time you make your money ~ if you pay too much for items to fill your booth you will simply break even. You're so talented at transformations Sandi, I can't wait to see photos!! Wishing you much success sweet friend, xxoo, Dawn
Hi Sandi... I think that is great news and I am sure you will make it lovely.... Where are you going to be having your booth at?
I know you will make a fabulous display! The photos you show us of your displays are always so beautiful. Congratulations and have fun!
Sandi, this is the perfect time to take the plunge. If more people were in business for themselves right now I believe we'd have a better handle on the economy. Just reopened my shop and my husband was just laid off and he also has jumped on the bandwagon and is going to start his own firm. Onward and upward! Good luck in your indeavors!

Oh find some hooks for the pegboard and hang signs and fun items! You will do great! And yes get that board erased!!
Hugs, Lisa
Hi Sandi,
Have LOTS of treasures and things for the season, Thanksgiving and Christmas would be good. Layer and stack items...You'll be fine :)
Do take pics :) You could look at some of my old posts for ideas.
Have fun and I hope you sell out!
Deb :)
