Happy, happy, happy :)

I had this post all done and tried to post it several times last week and it wouldn't post so here we go again.
This time I thought before I added all the wording {it wouldn't save it either} I would just see if it would post
today and wa la it did! So now I have to edit it to add the script. lol I am just glad it posted!!

I have been trying to use up items that I have had laying around here instead of purchasing more fun
things so these are my latest creations. Old bingo cards embellished with words and flowers.

I punched the letters out of old game pieces. I have tons of these!!

Faith, Hope, Love, Dream, Trust

I haven't decided if they are done or if I should add ribbon to hang them, but I think I like them as they are.

After I created the ones above I just had to make this banner.

If you watch Duck Dynasty then you know all about

happy , happy, happy!!

Love that show!

Happy weekend friends...it is almost over, but it was beautiful here in Michigan
today...finally!! :) Can't wait for more warm days.

Rosette Party today!

I hope you wonderful rosette makers out there
will bear with me today. I decided last night...at the
last minute that I wanted to join the
French Cupboard rosette party.
Definitely not much time to prepare so be warned
that these are not the most beautiful photos you will
ever see , but they are definitely rosettes.

I made this rosette pin a few days ago by tearing off a
strip of old white fabric that had the crochet trim still
attached. I love how it turned out. One of my
favorites right now.

I made these on the spur of the moment last night. I took two silk roses apart and stamped, stamped,
stamped Parisian images on the petals. That is as far as I have gotten...more work to be done
on these.

I made most of these rosettes at one time or another
except the colored ones. I am sure you know who
made them. Yes it was Erica of Meadowstreet! Love her work!!

{ I posted this wristlet several days ago,
but am reposting it for this rosette party}

I cut the shabby trim off the top of a skirt
and made this ivory rosette wristlet.
I wanted it to be simple so all I did was add a small
muslin rosette that I had made and some tiny
vintage lace.

These white gauze rosettes are in my Etsy
store right now. I love working with this
dreamy thin fabric. No two are ever alike.

These are some of the first rosettes I ever made.
I hooked three of them together and added
some ribbon tails and a button like Erica did.

I know there are gorgeous rosettes out there
in blogland. You can see many more by
attending the rosette party today through
the weekend.

From skirt to tattered lace wristlet!

Remember this skirt that I found at the Goodwill?

I cut off the trim at the top of the skirt and
used part of it to make this wristlet.

I love the tattered look so I didn't want to add
a lot of embellishment.

I added a snippet of vintage lace and a tattered rose that I made and wa la...a wristlet was born!

I even utilized the snaps on it to fasten it together.
I am thinking now that I might make a tinier rose to
cover up the snap...but for right now,
it is what it is and I love it!

I even have enough trim left over to make one
or two more. This was a simple and fun project
that I really enjoyed!

Have a wonderful weekend! Blessings~

Frayed Rosettes Tutorial and apologies

First I want to apologize yet again for not making it
to many of your blogs! You are all so kind to leave me comments
and many times I can't leave you one . Some blogs I have no
problem at all, but others I have real problems leaving
comments on my dial up. Please know that I appreciate all
your comments and I do try to get to your blog
and leave you one as well. If you leave an email trail I do try
to get back to you that way if I can't leave a comment.
One of these days I hope to have high speed...
can't be soon enough for me. LOL

now on to the tutorial ...

Several of you have asked for the tutorial that
I found online to make these frayed rosettes
and I finally found it again.

{yes I would misplace my arm if it was not attached .lol} just click here and then click on

*download sisboomfrayedrosettes*

no two frayed roses are alike and I love that
they each have their own personality~

Just like each unique rose,
I am so glad that God loves every
one of us as individuals. He would have
died for me alone had I been the only
one on earth and that is amazing love~

enjoy and have a blessed day~
