I love March.
It signals the beginning of spring,
and it is my birthday month.
Did you know that in the Roman calendar
it was originally the first month of the year?
The year consisted of 10 months
for a total of 304 days. According to tradition,
the Roman ruler Numa Pompilius added
January and February to the calendar.
{I know you just needed that info today. lol.}
lily-of-the-valley.
{I borrowed this photo off our local Christian radio's
facebook site}
trillium.
Our apple trees will break forth with
gorgeous blossoms...
...including our flowering pear tree.
I found this photo when I was searching online for
Spring flowers. Haven't a clue what it is, but it sure is
pretty.

This one remains nameless also.
I was caught off guard by Wednesday creeping
up on me again before I was ready so I opted
for white spring flowers.
A few photos that I took in the past added to some
that I found online.
Are you ready for Spring...I know I am!!
Be sure and join Kathleen over at Faded Charm
for more beautiful White Wednesday posts.
Blessings~

Love your flowers, we still have a great deal of snow, even though my bulbs seem to have poked through. No blooms yet, just little bits of green.
Beautiful photos!
I went to the NW Flower and Garden show last week and enjoyed seeing lots of lilies of the valley at one of the display gardens. I need to blog about it but I've got the flu. :(
...."White Coral bells...upon a slender stalk...lilly of the valley deck my garden walk..." Remember that song...if you are over 50 you should.
Love EM !!
As I do all spring flowers...we seldom have Spring down here in Southeast Texas...it jumps right into SUMMER...which lasts until about December !!!
It's been in the 80's around here for weeks already.
Thanks for the lovely images.

P.S. My rose bushes are
RE-blooming already. We cut them back about a month ago.
