Jeanne d' Arc Living Eggs

Remember last week or maybe even the week before
when I told you I was creating some eggs...
I wanted to make them on the order of the
Jeanne d' Arc Living Magazine pictures.

This is as far as I got. I purchased the paper mache eggs,
covered them with pieces of french book pages,
and glued vintage lace around the middle.
I had good intentions to do more, but
time got away from me.

This is my sweet granddaughter Allysha holding them for me.

I have to tell you that when we had the Easter egg hunt yesterday, {pictures on post below} I looked inside the window and Jon was holding these eggs! He thought these were the ones they were hunting for. lol My daughter-in-law came to the rescue and put them up for me. Oh the innocence of small children!

Happy Monday everyone!! Blessings~

Eggs Anyone?

We had so much fun having an Easter egg hunt
for the grandchildren after church today.
We only had three that could attend ,
but it was definitely a day to remember!

I sent dh and the rest of the guys outside
to distribute the eggs. We ended up with
37 eggs per child! That is a lot of eggs
to find places for.

We had to stop our sweeties in their tracks for pictures
before they came bounding out the door to find the eggs.

There were eggs in the bushes...

on the outlet...

among the chives...

and on the ground.

Annika did so good at picking her eggs up and
putting them in her basket.

Jon, on the other hand kept taking
breaks to eat what was inside his eggs! LOL

I found some more!

Once again, Jonathan sitting down eating
the chocolate...too cute~

All done gathering eggs and headed into the house
to open them and collect the goodies.

This is the first Easter egg hunt we have had for
years. We had one when Allysha was younger
and she was the only grandchild, but somehow
it never worked out since then.

It was a lot of fun
watching the grands get so excited over finding
the eggs. We will definitely be doing it again
next year and we hope that Keira can
be here to join in the fun because we
sure missed her today!

{I didn't get hardly any pictures of Allysha because
she took off around the other side of the house
and I didn't know where she was! }

I hope you had a wonderful Easter day !

He Lives!

{I think I may have shared these pictures last Easter,
but just had to post them again this year}

I have very fond memories of growing up and
attending this little country church.

I am so thankful that I had parents who
loved me and who taught me right from wrong.
They didn't just talk the Christian talk,
but they also walked it each and every day and in
every aspect of their lives.

Because of their influence,
and a choice I made to invite
Christ to be Lord of my life...

I know HE LIVES!

This was my church...my little country church that
I loved so much. Sadly it was torn down some years ago.
Every time I drive past the corner
where it once stood, I think of the wonderful memories
and of how I learned about Jesus and
His sacrifice for me.

My sister, brother, mom and I on
Easter Sunday 1965

{that's me with my hand on my hat}

my sister, brother, dad and I .

Weren't we just too cute? All dressed up in our Easter best...

after all Christ gave His best for us.

Wishing you a very blessed Easter as we
celebrate our risen Lord!

April 1

I rarely post two in one day , but just had to share this...

Can you believe this little cutie pie? I just nabbed this
off of my son's facebook page.

He also posted how he hadn't been feeling well and so
his wife and sister took the kids out on a playdate and
he took some medicine to knock him out and went to bed.

He told his wife he would leave the door
unlocked so they didn't need their keys.
He woke up 15 minutes later to a loud crash and
his huge HDTV was laying broken on the floor.

Said the only thing he can figure is that someone
tried to take it off the wall and dropped it because
it was so heavy. So far his inventory shows his 360 and
blue ray player also missing. Luckily the iMac was
upstairs and they must not have went up there.
He doesn't think the shock has set in yet, and doesn't know
what Liss will say when she gets home.

Many caring people commented telling him
they are so sorry and hope it all works out and that
maybe his home owners insurance will cover it etc. etc.

Then someone eluded to what day this is.
He is a stinker!!
He had me hook , line and sinker and I was
ready to make a phone call... until I read
the incriminating comments.

Glad he had a little fun on this crazy day!! Blessings~

Happily doing my part...

to help out!

My beautiful sister-in-law dropped off these
Krispy Kreme donuts
a few minutes ago.

Just doing my part to help out
her kids fundraising project ~
Are you drooling yet?

I certainly wouldn't ever want to miss
the opportunity to help support this cause.lol.

If you have never had Krispy Kreme donuts...

They just melt in your mouth...

as the package says,
* 0 trans fat...100% delicious*

I am going to try real hard to be a good girl and only
eat one or two...or...somebody stop me!

I hope you are having a wonderful day today. The weather here
is gorgeous. Supposed to be in the middle 70's. I am running
around like a crazy woman trying to get things done and
ready to move into my larger booth tomorrow, but
had to take the time to share these with you.

After all I was taught as a child to always share!

Have a beautiful day.

Blessings~
